Since 2026-11-04, codegen.eu no longer offers three things it used to:
- Polygenic risk scores. The score graphs, percentiles, "raises" and "lowers" lists and the Advantage page are gone. Every report still lists the variants in your file that studies associate with the trait, with the papers behind each one.
- The question-and-answer assistant. Its pages answer with a notice that it has been discontinued. Nothing you typed into it is kept.
- Genes-and-medicines (pharmacogenomic) content. The pharmacogenomic category, the drug-response reports and the dosing sections of variant entries are no longer shown.
The reason is the way EU product-liability and medical-device rules for health software are changing. Polygenic scores were relative, population-level signals and were never a diagnosis. If you made, or are considering, any medical decision based on one, please discuss it with your doctor. Never change a medication without talking to your prescriber.
If you paid for unlocked reports before 2026-11-04, you can request a full refund by emailing contact@codegen.eu with your payment reference until 2026-12-04, 30 days from the notice. Everything else you paid for stays open, your unlock does not expire while the service operates, and reports are updated over time at no extra cost.
The Terms of Service carry the dated notice under Discontinued features, and the Privacy Policy describes what we keep and what we do not.
